Lexus RX450H

This is the 3rd gen Lexus that run production from 2008. It has an updated transmission that can lock up its torque converter from 2nd through 6th gears to improve fuel economy. The drag coefficient was decreased, exterior dimensions increased with cargo room getting an increment as well. Smart Access, keyless entry and start system, and UV reducing exterior glass were some of the features made standard. Safety was improved with twin chamber front passenger airbags, side torso airbags for the front row, side curtain airbags for front and rear rows, knee airbags for front row, and active headrests, to protect the passengers from whiplash injuries used to protect the passenger. Hill Assist control that prevents the car from rolling back on a steep incline is standard.
